Liz Taffender

Hello, I’m Liz Taffender one of the current Deacon’s at Morden Park.

I first came to Morden Park in January 1970 when I moved down to the area from Scotland where I attended my local Church of Scotland.

I was (and still am) a Girls’ Brigade Officer and wanted to keep my Brigade connection when I moved and was directed to Morden Park. Everyone was so welcoming, I have been here ever since!

I had the privilege of being elected a Deacon in March 2000 and have been doing my best to serve the Church in that capacity since then.
