A Warm Welcome

Visiting a new church for the first time can be a daunting prospect and at MPBC we make a genuine effort to strike the correct balance in welcoming new people without the welcome becoming overwhelming.

We're always pleased to welcome newcomers and you're sure to receive a warm initial welcome when you enter the church building. During the morning service there is usually an opportunity to say hello to the people sitting near to you and we serve refreshments after the service which can be a great time to get to know people. If you need ay information or assistance then stewards are always available to help.

Our services generally last around an hour and a quarter with emphasis being laid upon engaging with God through prayer, worship and Bible teaching, The style is largely relaxed and informal.

Creche

Morden Park is very child friendly, indeed baby friendly as well!

We have a number of babies and toddlers, some of whom can be found wondering the aisles in services going from member to member of the congregation.

Obviously being a parent is a full time occupation, and to allow parents to enjoy the church service a crèche is run in which one or two adults (normally mums themselves) supervise the children in a room near to the main service (thus allowing for speedy retrieval of parents should it be necessary!!)
