Children's Ministry

We have a range of different activities through the week for children.

On Sundays, during our morning service, our dedicated team of children’s workers will teach the children through songs, games, quizzes, stories, prayer and a range of other ways to help our children to start and grow in their relationship with God through Jesus.

On Mondays we welcome boys to the 11th Kingston and Merton Boys’ Brigade for a range of fun activities, devotions and badge work. The evening starts with Anchor Boys (5-8’s) from 5:30-6:45, Junior section (8-11’s) 6:45-8:15 and Company section (11-14’s) from 7:30-9:00. For more information please contact Keith Alexander on 020 8542 1453.

On Fridays we welcome girls to the 4th Morden Girls’ Brigade for their own range of games, badge work and devotions. The evening starts with Explorers (5-8’s) 5:15-6:45, Juniors (8-11’s) 6:45-8:30, Seniors (11-14’s) 6:45-8:30 and Brigaders (14-18’s) usually helping to lead the younger ones and having their own activities once a month. For more information please contact Brenda Swinton on 020 8391 0495.

Every summer we join with a number of other local churches to run a Holiday Club in the local park. Each year we see about 300 children coming together for a variety of songs, Bible stories, games, craft and other fun ways to learn about Jesus. We take child protection seriously and follow the Baptist Union guidance in our child protection policy. All our children’s workers will hold a current CRB certificate and we will take up references before letting them work with our children.
